First track day of the year down in Llandow if anyone is up for it from this region.

I'm booked on even if it is a good drive for us Northern chaps.
I'm also up for trying to arrange another track day in between the one Pointz is organising and the Weekender in August if anyone is up for it? Thinking Croft or Blyton etc.
Let me know your thoughts

Sweet, we can convoy down then dude. Teesside is an nice little track, but when I was there it was chaos and I'd be worried about people having others crash into them. Unless we can book it for SXOC only, not sure if that is something they do?
Id be up for it but am i right in thinking from chatting with ste that they dont do full days?
The track days are monday evenings, but I'm sure they'd consider renting it out for a day to SXOC if we can get enough people. They rent it out for BDC for example
They do club days but as mid week. Usually mondays 10-4.

I'd be up for a track day somewhere closer to us, going to have to pass on Llandow since I'll have uni exams around that time.
Only ever been too Teesside before, with fecked up power steering and in the wet so I don't feel I got a full track experience.
I have done a drift day at Teesside and had no worries what so ever I will go again if my car stops breaking . they rent the track to slide motorsport for testing so I don't see why they wouldn't do it
I'm going to push myself to do a few grip days next year in the BMW to do some testing and obviously have some fun so would be interested in more local ones. Can get a few people together and can also help with booking tracks as I know a few of the owners or staff etc
I'd maybe be interested in a Teesside track day as well, provided I can get the time off work! Would like to see how the RX-8 fares or blows up :wack:

Yeah, I bought a Clio 197 about a year ago. As expected, it was horrendously unreliable and I didn't like it at all. Chopped it in for a RX-8 with good compression. (Got rid of unreliable car, bought potentially more unreliable car :wack: ). To be honest, my S15 was really unreliable as well, so nothing has really changed :facepalm:Quote:

Looks like we will be able to sort at least one Yorkshire/NE track day next year.
