Smashed My Precious Quotes

Not one for posting reviews etc. but feel I have to make an exception for Greenlight. Had my renewal from another modified insurer come in at £860 on my Sileighty, got a cheaper quote elsewhere and managed to get my renewal price matched to ~£740. Thought I would give Greenlight a quick call just as my renewal was about to start and they smashed it with a quote of £570.

Had okay dealings with other modified insurers but the guy on the phone really seemed to share a passion for cars himself, talking about the show calendar and his plans as well as mine. Real breath of fresh air compared to those that just say ‘oh nice car’ and nothing more.

Good company and I recommend to everyone.

Hopefully they can look at their agreed value prices before my next renewal though as the price they’ve set wouldn’t come close to replacing my car :(

I tried them but didn’t like the attitude of the person on the phone but to be fair they were cheaper but stayed with my current insurer

Try admiral mate, I get my ps13 for like £450 all mods declared and Ive 6 points and a nfc

If I was just getting insurance to keep me legal on the road I would agree. But they want a substantial amount of money if I want to cover mods like for like which is an absolute must for me. The extras the that the modified specialists give you far outweigh the cost difference in my eyes

Greenlight never used to cover a lot of post codes for modified vehicles so could never use them in a Warrington post code area.
