Lower brace looks much the same as all the others so should be fine, the boot one looks pointless :(
The boot one looks like an apprentice welder threw it in the bin.
as above id go for the lower brace but not the upper. that said you can have a bar welded across your sub frame to substitute a lower brace which will be much stiffer.
Wow that rear brace looks rough as ****
I bought the boot brace for £7 when they randomly reduced it.
I don’t know how well it will do structurally but it looks good in place and more importantly is great for securing things to in the boot.
how can they have the nerve to sell stuff that badly made. id be ashamed to even give something away with welds that bad.
People want stuff cheap you couldn’t buy the material for that price in this country let alone cut it out bend it and weld it together and post it across the world
Have to love the close up shots of how shit it is lol
90% of the stuff Japspeed sell is just eBay tat with a sticker on it anyway, but that boot brace is especially bad!
the front bar is the same as the APEX performance bar they did years back, and it is steel not alloy or aluminum
they list on ebay a none adjustable bar made from oval tube that is alloy or aluminum
the front bar may add some stiffness to the car but it is a bolt on part so will be 50% less solid than a welded bar or brace
same as the Nismo power brace tension rod brackets/bar welded combo
the rear bar is more a bling thing in your boot imo, probably more use as a securing things in the boot bar as Sean B mentioned
than an add any chassis stiffness bar
the rear ends of the chassis rails are tied into the boot flour/ the rear panel and all the surrounding metal work,
and the subframe mounted to the flour/chassis rails is pretty solid,if there is any flex in the rear part of the chassis, that bar wont stop it
the s15 spec-r has a rear brace like that in the boot, so I assumed they just copied that. I think its sole purpose is to make it difficult to get the spare wheel out.
