Hello West Mids folks, it's been a while - does anyone have any S13 shocks & springs I could buy cheaply or borrow? I need to move a shell and the easiest way is going to be making it into a rolling...
I had a Type 2 for a while on an S13 with a red-top SR20, I liked it but it definitely wasn't quiet. There is a silencer though in the mid-pipe, it's not just a straight-pipe. Also they come with a...
Yeah, this.
The remote keyfob operates the alarm and the central locking, the immobiliser is deactivated by the sensor around the ignition switch detecting the chip in the key.
Unlocking the...
As mentioned lots of camber won't affect tyre wear nearly as much as people sometimes think. Toe definitely will though.
My suggestion is find somewhere friendly and cheap to get your alignment...
The rubber O-ring which seals the pump to the top of the tank.
Is it possible to get new ones or am I best off getting one from a breaker?
Cheers, Matt
This is wrong, you can't mix and match CA and SR elbows and downpipes, but if you use an SR elbow and downpipe (and a decat) then you'll be fine. Done it, it works.
The only time you have to do...
So Basically the wheel must not protrude more than 30mm past the edge of the mudguard/arch. [/QUOTE]
You do realise the 30mm measurement you've quoted is describing the minimum height of the edge...
Doesn't work like that, as Jon H hinted earlier, more power means you need less throttle, less throttle means the throttle plate is being more of an obstruction in the intake which lowers the...
Seems like it would be less hassle to plumb it in to the main exhaust, I wouldn't know though, I only ever ran a puny 1.25" screamer pipe on a CA and that sounded terrible :D
I read somewhere that the CA limit was set at 7800 on the JDM and 7500 on the UK, and the SR20 numbers were 7200 on the UK and 7500 on the JDM. So a 300rpm lowering for the export models, presumably...
Roffle :D
Yeah, but they do seem to be finishing this season with arguably the quickest car, and no major rule changes for next year...
As opposed to last year where everyone complained that he couldn't overtake, yeah?
I wonder what the complaint will be next year* :D
* I hope Ferrari have a come-back year, but I suspect...
Seriously? Epic season, epic last race, pretty epic drive in that last race by Vettel, and you'd rather Alonso clinched the title on appeal?
I doubt even Alonso wants that :wack:
The Government need to butt the **** out of people's lives and start running the ****ing country properly instead.
"What's your job?"
"Oh, I'm the minister for making sure people wash their...
Just think about which tyres do most of your braking and all of your steering, then ignore that retarded video and fit your new tyres on the front wheels :wack:
Fronts will need the holes where the strut bolts to the hub drilling out - S13 is 12mm bolt, S14 is 14mm.
Rears won't be long enough.
I think. I'm pretty sure the top mount bolt patterns are...
Lame.
I'm pretty sure Tesla himself spent a hell of a lot more than 72 hours surrounded by said coils :wack:

I think the head has ribs/fins on the front in between the cams on the later engines, red-top casting is smooth.
S14 lower arms are around 10mm longer, you'll need your tracking adjusting if you had S13 lower arms previously. The S13 steering arms will be fine - there's enough adjustment.
Cheers guys, removed it and binned it :D
Hey dudes,
I was under my car yesterday and noticed that something bad has happened to the dust seal on the output shaft of the gearbox, you know, the metal sleeve which hides the end of the prop...
They might not mind the odd skid if you looked like you knew what you were doing :D
Nope, but wish I was. Which company runs Mallory track days?
No offence but this sounds a bit suspect to me, for two main reasons: a) what is factory alignment spec and b) why would you have your fairly heavily-modified car aligned to factory spec anyway?

I think the S15 head-manifold gasket is a multi-layer steel jobbie, or Conceptua sell something similar, and for the turbo to manifold either use a genuine Nissan gasket or nothing at all. Bin the...
