To be fair the cars now getting painted so i cant check yet but will report bk once i have got it back and put it all together

Im gonna replace all the gaskets anyway to be fair i need to try source the bottom part of the inlet manifol as one of my threads are ruined

I have searched google and cant seem to find a how to on removing the inlet manifold both parts ? Has anybody done this or have a step by step guide?

Basically i have an s14a it had high like 3-4 k erratic idle the things i have dont to try sort this are
- adjust tos sensor witch is now correct
- check for...

Iv got an s14a and since the garage done an oil change its started to smoke a bit he dod over fill it by over a liter so i had to drain some out it was gulf ester oil that was put in think it was...

So i adjusted that screw below throttle plate and the idle came down alot iv wound it nearnly all the way in now the tps sensor is saying .18 so that will need to be adjusted my car is still idling...

Il give h dev a call on monday and ask em , more than likely get one one order

Is ther anywhere that sells a complete package ,software and lead so i can plug my s14a in to diagnsostics im having a few issues recently and this would help a ton iv had a look online but a bit...

Its weird as it was fine then stored for 2 years then the problem started iv done the obvious service , drained fuel , checked for air leaks etc

Ok il try adjust it if not will i have to change the whole throttle body im guessing ?

Iv already put a bung in the pipe thats teed but i could try and put a straight non teed piece on it where is the cold start mechanism ?

The throttle plate /wheel on side of inlet wont go back any more the screw to adjust it is not even touching it ( cold start mechanism?). Do you mean idle control valve as iv screwed it all the way...

Tried it and it stalled and sucked my hand like mad lol ��

Ok will give that a try i no it does run with maf disconnected

Just on the rev counter or all of them ?

Im in lowestoft i have tried soldering it ?

Its right to the end of the gauge sometimes it goes back with a hard smack but iv tried re soldering and it made no difrence so i think its going to be a new rev counter to be fair

My rev counter is broken is it possible if i can source a speedo / cluster that is, to swap my rev counter for a working one i no it comes out easy just making sure it would be compatible

SO i done a test on the tps sensor today the results seem ok closed throttle was 0.42 open throttle was fluctuating quite alot from 4.4-4.7 and the live feed was 5.11 are these ok ? Car still ideling...

Hi guys im in the process of finishing my s14a i bought it as a project and it was 80% complete . Basically when i started the car it woukd be at high idle then after 3-4 mins it would start hunting...

Iv got a spare its just got the wires cut if u wana try it ?

It looks like i dont have any wires for it then where do they come from maybe il have to buy a whole new loom
