Ta! :D
Doesn't sound like there's much in it timewise given we don't know when the Mainline dyno arrives so would be daft for me to try and get numbers for something before the start of April - I'll just...
Aye good on the whole mate - got a wee one of my own on the way at the end of March BTW  :)
Let's face it, it's a non issue really - 20 something is easy enough in a day and I'm sure...
Hi guys - long time no speak, hope everyone is well! Will get my ass along to a meet soon..
Had previously spoken with Kieran about another joint club RR day between SXOC and mkivsupra.net and...
Looking good James - need to get a catchup beer sometime! :)
Cheers,
Brian.
They can't issue a court summons unless you've been cautioned. That requires two officers speaking to you in person at the same time ;)
Congrats J... knew it'd work! :)
Cheers,
Bri.
Nasty! I'd be checking out all the fusing as there should be something to protect the ECU. Hopefully the PFC can withstand more abuse then.
Nope it had the Blitz Access ECU in it when Todd got it and it ran great like that... not sure what happened ECU wise from there!
Behave yourself! You have to mash the throttle pedal real hard to get the trans to kick down - it's controlled by a solenoid under the pedal that's beyond the normal fully depressed range.
People...
No, the standard side mount is more than up to the job provided it's in good condition and not crumbling to bits!
Sounds like my old car - black bomex kitted pimp mobile that sounds about as good as a straight six can? Glad to hear it's going strong if so. Always said it felt like 350bhp on the butt dyno when it...
Drop the airfilter (std airbox is absolutely fine on the Supra), no boost controller necessary because decats and decent exhaust system = too much boost already, hence the restrictor ring in the...
It depended on the run - grip was very variable. When the track prep stuff goes down you get excellent grip but if it's worn out the surface is kinda slippy.
You also fight a headwind at Pod - my...
Howcome m8? Was looking forward to chasing people I know around Knockhill especially!
I think you're just leaving before I embarrass you on track :D :p :smash:
Bri.
1.1bar stock sequential mode... I would run 1.2bar (the limit before the cermic turbos exit stage left out the exhaust) as I do on the road but at the strip I add ignition advance through my MAP-ECU2...
Nope I have a modded Toyota Autobox with a hi stall torque convertor (and required trans coolers) along with a TRD 2-Way diff - these items let me launch nice and spooled up along with a soft rear...
Thanks James - yeah it's holding up to my abuse so far! :)
How's Uni? Are you still en route to project monster S14?
Cheers,
Brian.
11.58 @ 114.78MPH to be exact, with a 1.64 sec 60ft time at our Supra Pod 08 event - full details over on mkivsupra.net
I have a bunch of mods but of note I still have standard j-spec...
Any takers... we're under 2 weeks away now.
Cheers,
Brian.
Sure no problem. Just pay as a spectator on the gate on the day and if anyone asks tell them tDR from the club cleared it on sxoc.
Cheers,
Brian.
Yeah it's nice to have the place privately for a full day :)
Get yourself booked in as above - other car clubs are being invited too for a mix of competition so don't wanna hold spaces and find...
No takers anyone?
Thanks Kieran :)
Anyone up for this then?
Cheers,
Brian.
btt
Would a friendly mod move us into a UK widey bit - would be nice to see some SX's along. You guys have excellent power to weight so don't need much to keep up with the average Supra TT. Will be a fun...
