    Had/have this too! The timing of the CAS jumps about by just doing up the three bolts. tried two different ones. Weird shi(r)t. Mine pinks some times, shouldn't knock sensor stop this?

    Have you checked the PCV in the plenum is moving freely? 19mm spanner to remove it I think.
    The ball should move freely. Clean with petrol or carb cleaner.
    Mine std T25 smoked like Q had set it up...

    Made one too, snapped one as seized, Vd a bit of threaded, Vd the rest of the link, welded together, that was 4 months ago and done a three up trip to France as well as carrying big loads, been fine....
