only difference is the pistons the rest is det seems to start, run and boost but not shure if it will last even if i bleed of the turbo to next to no boost

I have a det that i need to re build but wanted to use the de until i sort it

Could i run de engine with turbo on low boost? with det ecu or would i need another tune?

Nightmare getting it off, as its front wheel drive but its off. Dowels are in and all the allen bolts.
Also tried another cas before i posted and that was same.

My crank sensor catches the cam bolt heads when i tighten the bolts? loosen them and hay presto quiet again

smokes on idle when warm a little bit but when you rev snd let off it plooms

Trying to tell if my turbo is causing the engine to smoke under boost or is the oil rings not bedded in.
when the engine is cold the engine doesn't smoke but i know the turbo has a lot of side to...

Ok so i am replacing my bearings in the crank and rods for standard size as wear is very minimal
Do i need to just swop them or do i need to plastigauge it

I have done that totally removed cleaned and replaced it made no difference. even put power to it to make the plunger move in out

Ok guys its like i am getting nowhere fast, aac plug is live all the time and lights a bulb, cold start valve opens when cold and shuts when hot but dosn't make any difference to tick over or make...

I know the aac adjusts the tick over on load but what does the thin one do?

Cold start valve opens and closes as it should but with no difference in rpm meaning it doesn't increase revs on warm up

if the aac is not working what does this affect ?? also i have had to adjust the throttle stop to keep it running??
