My first post on the group for perhaps 5 years!
I fitted the above timer about 8 years ago. Purchased from new, it worked flawlessly. I think it has the official wiring harness adapter fitted. It...
Great stuff. Keep us updated. I’ll take a look at your YouTube account.
Thanks. My first attempt with some new equipment. Plenty of room for improvement!

Hi all. I used to be regular active member of the SXOC but, since I finished my S14a restoration, other things have taken up my time.
I still have my S14a safely tucked away in the garage, although...
Thanks for all the info. I will look to do this at some point.
Ideally, if like to refit the coil pack cover so I will look into the black coil packs.

Good job on the VAG coil pack conversion. Interested to know how long that took, parts required and rough cost. Can the OEM coil pack cover be refitted afterwards - does it need modifying?

Coming along nicely.

Have you any standard s14 discs knocking about? I may be wrong, and hopefully someone can confirm either way, but I seem to recall that those calipers fit the standard discs without brackets.

Glass media is what the blasting firm used on the parts I took to them. It does leave a great surface to paint.
Keep up the good work[emoji106]

Coming along nicely. If I had the space I would have made a lot of use of a compressor, particularly for sand blasting. What size compressor are you using - is it up to the job. I've read sand...

Is it on the offside spare wheel well? It's large, at least 50mm, with a long rubber protrusion that houses the diff sensor cables. I will b able to get a photo tomorrow or the following day.

Went in for the setup earlier. The guy said he'd be more than happy to set the geometry as the car was but, ideally the car would be sitting lower at the front. They could have changed the ride...
That would make more sense - thanks.

Ok so I'm going to KAP Tuning on Thursday to have my geometry set.
So these are the Whiteline settings. I was...
Sorry I've been meaning to check my car to see exactly what I did but kept forgetting!
I have drilled extra holes in the new outer section of the sill I fabricated. The holes in the sill for...
Which part have you left open? The air con pipes as they exit the bulkhead. I guess that wouldn't be a problem. I just initially bunged mine to stop crap falling into them and air con oil leaking out.
Yes it does. It houses a sensor which I just left in place. I used grommets and tape to blank any holes left in the box by removal of the evaporator.
The box itself must be replaced as otherwise...
Yes. The plastic box that houses the evaporator is removed. The evaporator is taken out. Cover any holes left by removing the evaporator. Put the plastic box back in place.

The simplest thing is just to individually bung them. I ran the car for 3 years like that. I've just had a tidy of the engine bay and gone the whole hog by removing the evaporator and putting...
This is going to be my first port of call. If access is too tight to get the torque wrench in I will go for the coil over/spring removal.

Some parts do need to be reused.

Do a search on my user name and rear diff bushes and I outlined the install. There's basically superfluous parts in the kit. The rear bush OEM cups that are reused and pushed into the top hat style...
