Thats risky.
Although the company I work for is high networth (only insures the rich), we offer comprehensive DOC for all drivers inc names drivers. We also cover anyone who does not perm reside...
What give DOC ? Most companies will give it if you are old enough (normally over 25/30) and take out fully comp cover
I can understand that by why lose the actual bonus, why not just load the premium due to the higher risk. For example, £1,000 premium - 60% NCB = £400, then add say 25% due to the increased risk not...
I agree always check your own individual policy or call your broker, at the end of the day that's what they earn their commission for. If they do say no you can't drive unless insured elsewhere then...
Yep so long as Taxed, MOT'ed and you have the owners permission then you can use it. You just have to make sure you are in it at all times for the insurance to be valid. I have never read any small...
Yah 2 years, piss take if you ask me. Why should you lose it after 2 years ?
Hey all, this is not strictly true. Insurance companies only tell you this as although they offer DOC they will always try to get the other company who insures it to pay/try to persuade you not to...
Sorry you are correct, I have not been on here in a while as sold my S14A and forgot this was the thread where I was trying to work out what the thing was ;) :sxoc:
I still have these at my parents if anyone is interested. No use to me. Cost £109, make me an offer. Brand new !!
That will reduce power even on a standard S14 though. "Get a bung, job done" :wack:. Stick the cat back in come MOT time if you need to
That will def make a difference
I dont see how on standardish cars, even with the bung you still have a good 2 - 2.5 inch exit. Based on my experiences with a 4 inch exhaust that is.
My previous S14A had a full stainless system fitted with a bung and sounded nice, was like yours standard boost. I took it out one day to see and it was ridiculously loud so they work very well.
Came with a S13 I bought years ago but none of the cars have been loud enough to warrant it. My current S14 sounds nice as is, not too loud
PM sent
Thanks guys
Right I am gonna try the plugging the hole mod, my Baileys DV26 is getting on my wick.
If you decide on the bung I have one for sale, brand new
Hi all,
My car is fairly modified and currently running 1bar of boost. It has a Baileys DV26 DV fitted but to cut a long story short the tish is chaffing my balls and ideally I would like a recirc...
I am sure you will be very popular in that case :D
Cant grumble paying £350 for an S14
Same for me too, my washers have stopped working. No sound at all from the pumps. Headlight washers and rear one waork fine though so guess it the wiring.
Search button works well :D
I beg to differ. Got a B & M on my car, swapped with a standard gear knob and it was twice as loud. Gone back to the solid aluminium B & M one
Its quite a bit of work to do something like that so I suggest you ask very, very nicely
Cant do it myself, way to much work unless there is an easy way I dont know of. Anyways whats wrong...
