Could you buy a 90* Silicone hose in the right ID? From memory it is around 90* but if it isn't you could try measuring the angle and getting the closest to the original angle as possible
Clutch bearing carrier. I may have reading too many US forums!

Hi all
Could anyone help by measuring (face to face/end to end) of a S14/a throw out bearing for me?
Cheers!
As Sideways said, you could just open a spreadsheet, set condition formatting for a column to "Highlight cell rules > Duplicate values" (set your formatting for duplicates) and scan away.
I looked at doing mine and the main bits that I can remember of hand were:
Metal Headgasket
Nissan Chain kit
ARP head bolts
ARP Main bolts
New Nissan oil pump rotors
New Nissan water...
Yeah that's the one mate.
Sweet, let me know if you do and how much and I'll grab it off you when your free

Looking for anyone that's been as stupid as me and lost their AVC-R MAP sensor :furious:
There's a few on eBay, around £40 plus.
Has anyone used these and can anyone comment whether they work...
Sorted it :)
I checked the voltage on the CAS - the "12v" feed was only 6v. Checked the voltage on the ECCS relay, 6v.
Rechecked all the "engine bay" fuse box, all looked okay.
For a just...
From what i understand, only the JDM cars have a relay between the ECU and the coil packs/injectors and if it was to be faulty, i wouldn't get a 12v feed which I'm getting
Just incase though, i...
Leccy windows work okay
Your thinking the 7.5amp ISC fuse? I've checked continuity but ill check the windows and swap it out to make sure its okay!
Cheers
Ive tried added an earth from the ECU straight to the battery and didn't work.
I'm thinking ECU too. I've had a look but can't see any burnt bits inside.
Surely the ECU activates the fuel pump...
I visually checked the fuses but ive now tested them for continuity and theyre all fine.
Yeah still running nats, the halo is plugged in and its not doing the flashing light thing that normally...
I let you out on Panfield lane (naughty naughty haha)

Hi all,
My s14a has stopped starting and I'm not sure where to look next. I think it's wiring related as I was upside down in the footwell installing my accelerator cable
I've checked;
Fuel...
Yeah sorry missed that, it's plugged in.
With the ignition on, my injectors tick.
To add more info, I've tried a different ecu with nats stuff. I'm not able to connect to the ecu using a...
Hi all,
I've put my engine back in with the bare essentials that i think should mean it can run.
Ive got the following plugged/wired in:
Starter
TPS
Knock sensor
VVT
Put a relay In, use the standard wiring to send the signal to relay and run a fresh run of cable to the battery so the pump gets the best volts possible
Thanks all for the comments.
I was only doing the head gasket as I wanted to make sure it would be reliable at the power I'll be running - lucky I pulled it apart really!
I spoke to my mapper...
Thanks all.
I have the engine apart to do headgasket, pumps and chain but as my other thread, I've found some damage to the block and pistons so it's now a full rebuild with new block etc
Silly Taptalk!

While it's apart, I'd rather do it now if needed than later.
I'd like it to be reliable.
Just checked the bore and looks like this;

Thought so :(
Would you say the block is salvageable?
