Would a poorly fitted timing belt be the cause by any chance?

You can't really hear it on idle, but the more the rev the louder it gets.

It's hard to tell where exactly, but it sounds like it's from the back of the engine block itself.

Anyone have an idea of why my engine rattles when revving?

I've recently had a garage change my power steering belt and timing belt (FYI).
