from the top off my head its 75w90 gpl 5 oil.
dont get ls oil as that is only for plated diffs
I say there the wrong way around.
the cooling fins direction is what is most important. not the grooves on the outside.

you can run the bov on the hot side. the elbow might of been cut to give more room to allow the bov to have clearance from the bonnet
it looks like the hot side piping as well as the inlet from maf to turbo
the oil is recommended for plated lsds
the only thing i dont like about any off the stainless elbows due to they not having a bracket which bolts to the engine, so all the weight is held on top off the maifold so in the end i got a second...
