Can the metal frame on the inside of the door be removed ?
Otherwise I don't see how the locking mechanisme could be removed.
Otherwise I need another door
hmm, its not the central locking motor, disconnected it and now it seems I can't lock it anymore, the little handle to lock the door won't move far enough.
YES, its open, thanx to my handy burglary tool (strip of metal with a corner in it), like they do in the movies :D
Now for the diagnoses, there doesn't seem to be anything loose. Still looks like...
Removing the rear panel doesn't help, its all metal, you can't get to anything.
Tried to remove (push aside) the doorpanel, but its blocked by the doortrim, you can't pull it inside, you can lift it...
I would only be able (maybe) to get to the back of the 2 screws for the catch, but I doubt I would be able to lossen them entirelly, might give it a try though
Master disarm the system, you mean just set the alarm off ? I already did that, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to drive home.
The door card ? meaning the inside panel ? that doesn't come of...
The little handle on the inside that locks/unlocks the door is in the locked position and won't move (a little but not enough). The handle to open the door does nothing.
What is the rear 1/4 trim...
Wanted to drive home from the supermarket and the door wouldn't open, tried the alarm a few times, used the key, but it won't open.
Got in through the other side (that luckily still worked) and...
I have had them too and when I looked at the email headers (the entire email without any formatting) the addresses they used seemed odd to me.
And paypal randomly asks for confirmation of your...
I start my car in the morning, rpm goes to about 2000 rpm (normally about 1500, but its abnormally cold).
I start driving, after a few hundred yards I stop (traffic light for instance), so I press...
I just recently put an s14a front on my s14
You need a few bits for the bumper, the support bar (the thing the bumper bolts onto) and the bits that the support bar bolts on to the car :...
These are my latest finds :

for the s14, if you have a fob with just one button, its just a question of pressing twice in a row. So after first press the blinkers blink once, then within 2 seconds press again, blinkers blink...
Or check this one http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/9crusader
Has sold more and still has 100% rating which is more reliable in my opinion.
Haven't bought from him myself, but planning to.
But just to be sure, this is just a bolt on part from an s14a to an s14 ?
And what would you call this part anyway, a bumper support bar support ?
Btw, since you did the conversion, how did you...
Don't know what's it called, but can I put this part (and the other side of course) from an s14a on an s14 (without drilling holes etc) ?
The bumper support is attached to it, but the s14 ones are...
Maybe, but wouldn't the hid kit also be a H1 hid kit, which also would have H1 plugs, which doesn't match the H4 plug on the wiring loom ?
Pictures would tell a 1000 words :D
And I did find the guide http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=92026
Maybe someone who has done an s14a conversion can add to this if needed. For...
I just bought an s14a front for my s14.
Just to be clear (I'm not always clear on english terminology), the slampanel are the 2 vertical bars that hold the lights ?
The s14a lamps should fit...
So it was that simple, allthough I did need a hammer to get it to move.
Thanx a lot.
I bought a new radio surround, and need to remove the lighter unit from the old one and put it in the new one.
I don't really want to break it apart, so need to know how to remove it.
Actually, these days you can just buy them 'plug and play' on ebay
I bought them and they fit and work pretty well. I was hoping it would open the bonnet a bit further then the stick, but thats not...
Someone was selling an s15 front (original pieces), but unfortunatelly I missed out on it (wasn't the first to respond).
But now I'm wondering how much work it would have been to put it on an s14....
I'd rather think the air from the cold feed pipe (in the first picture) is going to cool down the hotpipe, instead of the hotpipe heating up the air.
The air is blowing past the hotpipe, so it ...
