Everyone must've got a better manifold off jez than me. It was utter garbage so I cut it up and bought a wardy jobby...
But if yours is working for you i'd stick with your current setup and save...
Hands down the worst manifold I've seen. Cracked for fun (standard) but where no 3 runner went into the collector had a chunk of metal blocking it, reducing the bore to a little finger (I have huge...
I have their elbow and superlow downpipe, been on for 4 years now with no issues.
Wouldnt touch any cheap china manifold be it japspeed, hdev, ebay etc. After the hdev one i bought was an utter...
After matsuri mine's getting put in the garage on stands and forgotten about for a bit. This year I've spent far too much on it even though I've used it loads and had masses of fun I need to be...
Spotted this beauty which I assume is over for the MGP
Any one on here?

Bad for doing hall senders in the dizzy. If you ever get a 5k rev limit that's the issue.
In fairness they're not a bad motor... I've had a few in golf gti's that weren't a problem but I know others that have had nothing but problems.
AGG. Piece of shit... Idle control valve and air leak most likely.
Cheers guys.
Yeah I didn't want to do it but was the only way I could get the bonnet to clear the apex strut brace...
Haven't done much to it recently except drive it and enjoy.
Driftland happened:

Should be a barcode sticker on the upper cambelt cover. 3 letters.
Air leak, idle control valve and coils are a big weak point
What is the engine code?
My motor is ready for decent power but i like my little responsive turbo...
Cams, more fuel, possibly better management and big turbo would get me 500 ish. Maybe one day if i dont sell up and buy...
Normally I run Fuchs Titan Race Pro S/R 10w50 / 15w50
Due to a shortage of that im now on Mobil 1 10w60 motorsport
Normally a genuine filter but currently have a mahle item on it

I have a set of genuine Nissan headlight covers for a zenki s14. That some little sh1te kicked a football at and broke a clip :cry::cry:
You went really well michael! Next event is the 13th of september so get yourself up!!
Being careful not to over adjust it and cause the release bearing to constantly have pressure on it, youll go though bearings pretty fast doing that. Always leave a small amount of free play.
Definitely worth taking a skeet at it. Also check & lube the pivot and check the friction plate moves freely on the input shaft splines.
If its made 15nm and youve loctited it im sure it'll be ok. Just depends how mullered the thread is.
Check your release bearing, mine did this and displayed similar symptoms to those you're describing except mine got worse quickly and stopped working altogether due to my heavy clutch.
...
I had a clutch release issue and found the release bearing had split causing it to press on the fingers unevenly thus not releasing properly. wrecked my head changing cylinders, bleeding it etc etc....
65NM for a cam cap seems excessive to me? I stripped one when i rebuilt my motor ended up taking it back off and having it timeserted. if its tightened up by hand that should be enough as im sure...
Theres quite a few over here on the QT.
Michael the s14 tech area is your friend, so much good information and if you get stuck there's plenty of knowledge locally too. :)
Bcpr7es coppers for me at circa 350 in my sr and my mates near 600hp rb26.
