Hi,
for my manual S13 with ca18 I'm looking for the following stock parts:

Size 10mm head. With the old sump all the bolts are easy to reach, with the winged sump you'll need an allen key long enough for the middle bolts going through the wings. That's it really :)
Undo the bolts/nuts but not completely, just 2mm and tap on them, not the cap ;)
Nice, cheered me up no end :D
Sucks bigtime about the fire though!
You'll be back on the road in no time, enjoying the car again, wondering what all the hassle was about :)
Chin up, mate, you'll get there, just double-check every step you're going to take, well...
I know I wouldn't, they're linebored/honed from factory so only the caps that originally came with it are usable on that specific head.

Why not? If they chop the valve stems by the same amount the valve seats and dishes have have been cut, it shouldn't matter. Just make sure the rockers are level to the cams, for which you might...
No don't! Just tell him to trust you on this, but he really can't buy one of those nasty, nasty things  I wouldn't know about the one in the link specifically, but I do know about the brand...
The rubber that seals where the shifter enters the gearbox, may have perished? Sorry, forgot the correct name..
I know what I'm buying when my gt2871r goes! Thanks for the info, mate
Correct, keep max memory frequency at 2000. Mine is too. You may have to review the fan duty cycle but it's all possible with the Afterburner app. I had a fairly lame card to start with, but it has 2...
Use MSI afterburner to clock your GPU, I did with my gainward gtx570 and it works a charm. From 732mHz to 850mHz. Don't go too high as too much voltage, around 1.1 might kill your card like many have...
Amazing, thanks dude :notworthy
Time to start playing with it :D
I thought of emailing them, so good to know they have good support. A rarity these days.
Again, thanks mate!
I've got one of these, but instead of putting it above the exhaust manifold, where the instructions say to put it, I've still put it in the stock location below the inlet manifold right in between...
I think he's asking which pistons and rods to use for his soon-to-be-forged ca18. Also if the rings supplied with the wossner pistons he fancies are any good, if the k1 rods are any good and if there...
It certainly is. You can't blame a man for trying ;)
It's a round cylinder. Shouldn't matter which way it goes in, just make sure it's in deep enough. With the spot weld back in place where it...
I took it off. It needed a fairly good whack to get back in place while supporting the exhaust housing, then we thouroughly welded it. Never formed a problem again.
edit: some wd40 did help
Passenger footwell. Remove plastic cover next to the door. It's behind that. Easy enough to do. You'll see :)
Slightly yes :)
And glad to be of help, every now and then I get to give a little back as this board has helped me loads already :sxoc:
Ok, so the intake is all leak free now, supposedly. Sounds very much like the wastegate is still not closing fully due to its guide breaking free at the spot weld, and moving upwards/outwards of the...
Amazing :D Killer instinct FTW
For me it wasn't. I broke two gearboxes with mt90 in it, on one the bearings went and on the other third gear was completely stripped. Both boxes had decent oil control.
Now I'm using redline...
I will, as you're right :) Two treaded holes at the back of the engine, one on each side. Possibly m8 bolts but I'm not sure, could be m10 as well..
:D No, please don't bother, nobody does!
And to help rectify the micra hate, it's all sorts of cars that do this. It's the muppet behind the wheel that's fcuking it up, time and time again, 'till...
