Escy how much power is your car putting out now?
2oosx, any chance you could make your sig smaller please as it's nearly 2 megs
I know this is prob not the best place to ask, but... why do the 200's that I saw at Japshow never do quick, quick times?
And a few of the races I seen that were close, U would have thought a 200 would have wasted them if you were on a road.
One theory i guess is that there quicker from say 60-120 rather than 0-60's as there fairly heavy??
Alot of them seemed to be bogging down (not used to the sticky track maybe?), good few made high 13's and at least 1 made a mid 13 so pretty good by my reconning
yea your right actually... compared to a normal road when they would have things sliding from the line it did seem really sticky.
I'm not trying to say that there at all slow, just didnt seem to get the full potential out of them. (if that makes sense.)

with a good launch , my car should be capable of a very low 13 or a high 12. I got a 0 as the timing gear didn't work, then a 13.7 when I had wheelspin all the way through 1st and 2nd, then I didn't take my 3rd go, as I was pissed off with queing.. I can't believe how much waiting was involved, I won't be doing it again unless they at least half the queing time..
SantaPod is well slippy BTW, loads slippier than your average road..
First time I went there I was spinning up at 3000 off the line (without glue) it was so slippery. Launching is the hardest bit, my best is 15.094 @ 99.29 (stage 2 but with stock T25) but the car was capable ot at least 0.5 - 0.75 seconds less I reckon. 60ft was 2.691.
RWYB days generally have smaller queues (towards the end of the day at least) and you get unlimited runs, I've done 7 or 8 both times I've run before.
Find that hard to believe, the track was gluedOriginally Posted by PhilMorrison

Gonna have to get my ass up to see the next one
Did anyone see the cheesy vid (the one thats got a long number as a filename) with some SAD! background music . That is not my fault. The camera software had the music selected by default.
The drag/tsc day I went to a Elvington was much better than the pod, I got loooooads of runs, hardly any queing and they run in the wet
Ahhhh right the old its the camers chestnut
what spec you running phil?
Did it auto-generate the film as well??Originally Posted by 2OOSX
Yeah it did. Is there any way around it? Coz the only other option is to make a VCD in that crappy software. I just want to make clips and dump them on the hdd. Crappy Sony software. Windows movie maker isnt that great either.Originally Posted by Morf
Movie maker is alright for making small internet friendly WMV's, if you want more power software you should download the trail (30 days) of Adobe Premiere.
Are you the red S13 in the vids at Santapod BTW?Originally Posted by Morf
