    Yorkie's S13

picked this s13 auto up off a mate couple of months ago, needed some bodywork and a couple engine parts to get it up and runnning.
no tax or mot, hadnt heard to engine running so a pretty big gamble, also dont know how long it has been stood. lol.
looks like someone had parked it underneath something really low!!

forgot to take a photo of the sills, but they were pretty bad!!

    chassis rails

half the manifold studs were missing so picked a set up from db power as were the manifold nuts, again bought all new ones

turbo was missing along with the oil feed and turbo elbow so picked up a second hand turbo and also bought a braided line

    .

thought id do a little more bodywork on it.

picked up a second hand bonnet( bit misty, might buff up), got a red n/s headlight cover as it couldnt be saved and painted both of them

made up a plate to fit 3 gauges in the central vent, oil temp pressure and boost

thats pretty much how it stands so far, turbo is on just need to get a turbo elbow so i can put the rest of the exhaust on. get a new expansion tank( got a hole in it), two new tyres on the back clean up the sills properly and throw a little paint on them, give it a service and take it for a mot.

    cheers guys

splashed a little paint on the sills

clearly the paint has faded over the years, lol. ideally i should of really painted the whole sill but with side skirts will be going on at some point so im not too fussed.

just need to concentrate on the enigine side of things now

fitted the apex turbo elbow today, along with the rest of the exhaust (standard for now).
got my gauges in, all 3 wired up but only the boost gauge is working (waiting for senders for oil temp and pressure)

blocked off the header tank pipe, as the tank is knackered, put all new fluids in, nicked the battery of my 306 and fired it up, started first time and has a really smooth idle, let it run for about 10-15 minutes so i could check for any leaks knocks then took it for a quick drive, was really impressed, pulled well, held boost and was really quiet with no nasty suprises.
must get used to driving an auto though, my feet are all over the place, lol
    very happy
