Amp problem

Hello all,

completly non 200 related, as i'm trying to put a load of my old ice into my new diesel mondeo runabout!

Got it all wired up, battery lead is fused with a 20 amp fuse in the engine bay, amp is grounded to car body. Remote wire and RCA cables all connected.

However, when I power on my head unit, all the amp does it flash it's protect light. As if something is wrong with the wiring!

I'm a dumbass when it comes to ICE, so hoping that someone on the mighty SXOC can point me in the right firection for troubleshooting

double check the ground (and other connections) i had the same thing a few weeks back. I redid the ground and it didnt happen again

i had the same problen it was the ground wire i was trying to fix it for weeks then i re did the ground wire now it works perfect
