Z32 AFM will cover you well beyond the power you are likely to want to run.

I think the G50 is the same as the Q45, in which case the Z32 is better

q45 is bigger and better, and is NOT from the uk maxima as everyone thinks.

Its from the US infinity v8.

from what I'm told , even though the Q45 can flow more air , the Z32 can provide a better resolution and thus can be mapped mroe accuratly.

wanna buy my Q45 it's ideal for larger engines but because of the lower air flow of smaller engines it's very dificult to make accurate adjustments.

idling becomes a big issue on the CA with a Q45, I doubt the SR is much better

The Z32 AFM can meter more air and is THE BEST NISSAN AFM.

Despite being 10mm larger in diameter the Q45 AFM cannot meter as much air as the Z32 AFM and therefore will max out at a lower hp level.

I heard that z32 afm can meter 400-450hp
    q45 afm - 500-600hp

Hmm, so the Q45 would be more than enough for the power most of us want to run, but can anyone confirm/deny the comment about resolution? Q45 AFMs tend to be a bit cheaper, don't they?

BUT - no off the shelf chips are mapped for Q45... so any savings will be lost, because you would have to run a custom map

    Z32 all the way baby

off the shelf means held back so that it is safe to sell to the masses.....a custom map WILL ALWAYS yield better returns and a better engine to drive.

because of this fact your argument is void

the problem with the q45 is that it is designed for larger displacement engines which flow more air even on idle, the finite amount of air our puny engines need cant be accurately read by the q45afm and as such mapping them is extremely difficult. for this reason and this reason alone in my opinion it would be better to go for the z32afm
