I find the shock approach best. Drink sh*tloads of beer, bring a megaphone, get yourself naked and in a matter of minutes everyone knows you.

Oh, btw.. I´m thinking of coming this year because I´m on a roadtrip anyway at the time.

As a complete JAE noob here I have questions

Can I turn up on the day without any kind of ticket or club membership and get in?
    How much are tickets?
At the moment I was just thinking of attending Sunday, then driving back sunday night. But I see many of you are staying two or three days, is there too much to see in one day?

And what is at the show exactly, is there any track or demo action to see? Or is it more of a park up and walk round fields full of every jap car ever made?

I looked for images, but they are all of p***ed up guys ing in gangs and tents

    Fair represenation I reckon

Last year was a bit wet but still good fun. Its static show, which is a shame as there has been drifting there before, but it is the bollocks. You are a big leaping lord if you dont come up for at least one day

JAE last year was my first.
    My tips

    1. Doc does not look like his avatar pic and can always be found near the BBQ!
    2. Don't play any of Kens games
    3. Take food and alcohol lots of alcohol
    4. Put your tent up well, you never know if the JAE twister will turn up again.
    5. Enjoy yourself and just go and talk to everyone
    6. If a George Michael lookalike comes near you slurring his words RUUUUNNNN!

was nice to meet everyone (even those I dont remember meeting ) and I am sorry if I offended anyone (except playworker ).

I had one serious hangover in the morning and only about 2 hours sleep!

Oh yes and as for what I said about s13's, well some are alright

    and playworker, you deserved it!
