That is a very nice stance. But yeah it does seem a bit unpractical. I suppose if you just raise the front a tad bit it should be ok.

Yeah I've gotta agree with that comment, either tint them or get some nice clear ones, I think it'd make a TOP looking car 'even' better

Looks good mate. Ahh I remember my coilover days....they were too harsh for the amount of milage I did in my car etc plus the front bumper had a few "encounters" with various speed bumps and car parks so got S Tunes for now.

My girlfriend didnt really appreciate us bouncing down the A34

Hopefully thatll be the last long journey the car sees. Civic logbook should arrive soon so I can retax it!

    LOL

So are you going to turn the SX into a track beast, or just don't use it for long trips?

Its just a fun/weekend car really. Had a massive nightmare with taxing the civic though, so its been daily driven for the past couple months! Not really ideal for motorway journeys

Yea mine was getting to the point where it was not nice on the motorway. So decided to get some S Tunes on it so I can carry on using it - rather than getting another car as a daily driver! Once me an the GF move in together i may think about putting some coilovers back on as I don't mind driving her car as an everyday car

Got some ARBs in the post today so once they're fitted saturday will see how that set up goes.

hi mate just had a flick through the project and loving the fact you got the 10j +0 offset any chance you could do me some close ups of the rear from all angles preferable straight down as i have 18x10 et22 on the back and thought i can't go any lower offset but looking through this thread makes me thinks different! plus my fronts are 9's et38 with a 15mm spacer, did you reqire a roll to fit your 9.5's
one more thing how much of a pull has phil done on your rear arches?

You referring to me raising it Ben? It'll hardly be noticeable, itll only be a cm or so. I just want to be able to fit my fist under the front! Then I'll be happy . It'll still be low as ****!

Slider, for now all I have is the ones on page10 from behind, and these:

My current fitment is (R) 10J +0, (F) 9J +16. I have no archwork on the front (although I need it). Phil's pull wasnt too drastic by any means. As long as theres no rust down there you shouldnt have problems! Im running 245/40s on the rears, and 225/45s on the front

Theres more pull/flare on yours than Quails I'd say

he's got the offset nice and low because hes got 245s on (think you have 265??) and he has a liitle camber

You can fit 9.5s on the front easily down to about et15 if you use a 225 tyre and put a small roll on the front
