    Anyone for a Sileighty?

I want to turn my silvia into a onevia

Anyone want to swap front ends?

My front end isnt perfect, the nearside wing has a bend and a dent and there are chips in the bottom of the bumper but its nothing some filler and a hammer could'nt sort.

I'd need an aftermarket bumper that wouldnt look too bad with my cheapo vertex copy kit.

If anyone is interested i'll put up some pics.

Just to confirm things, when I say swap I mean as in physically swap over. If it were like for like I'd need some cash or some parts in return.

Im aware of the value of silvia bits sold separately so I'd want at least a near mint front end with a bumper that will pretty much match the rest of my kit, plus say about £200.

Im negotiable. Im after wider wings, wider front wheels and bucket seats so make me a decent offer

im really tempted dude, iv got a cheapo vertex front bumper which i painted myself, turned out well tbh bar the fact i kidnt key the bumper before i painted it so the paint has flaked a tad, i have 2 real chargespeed vented fenders unpainted buy there not on my car since they go cracked in the post, bonnet is almost perfect bar a tiny unnoticable pin dent, also has raybrig crystal lights, which are bright as fook

Sounds good, what are the cracks in the fenders like? Got any pics of it all?

Kilmarnoch is a fair old distance though....

Ill put some pics up of mine today if I get round to it. I need to wash it....

The chips along the bottom of the bumper could be fillered out, and I'm fairly certain the dent in the wing could be popped out and the wing straightened, although I'm no expert.

The bumper isnt a perfect fit, as you can see it sags under the passenger headlight. I reckon this could be braced from the inside to make it straight.

Hey mate. I have a facelift 13, with a brand new pair of chargespeed front fenders (still in there box). Aswell as the satandard front bumper and fenders I also have the H-Dev HID kit fitted lights. Let me know if your interested.

    Cheers,
    Al

let me get this right, you want someone to do the conversion for you in exchange for the left over parts

lets hope no-one puts a good value on their time.

I paid £250 for a complete silvia front end, with squares.

    Besides Sil80's are so passé.

I didn't read it like that, I read it that he'd want the S13 bits plus some cash - did he mention anywhere that he wanted someone to do all the work included in the deal?

IIRC, I paid £400 plus my S13 front for a standard Silvia front end, with triple projectors. Depends how lucky you are and how many are about at the time.

    Oh yeah

For some reason I just assumed he meant bring an S13 and some cash/parts/whatever to his and swap the front ends over between them, rather than he'll leave you to swap everything while he surfs SXOC

Now I don't know what he means!

ive never done either job but assume the sileighty takes a fair while and the onevia (esp if you want the lights to pop up) takes forever

Taking the front off a Silvia is a piece of piss - under an hour if you take your time and drink tea. Taking the front off an S13 is a lot harder, thanks to the pop-ups. I'd guess around 3 hours if you've never done it. Sticking the Silvia front back on the S13 is pretty easy once you figure the wiring out - actually bolting everything on is under an hour. No idea on getting the S13 front back on the Silvia, but I imagine it would be a PITA, with the wiring being the biggest headache.
