T28 Boost Issue (yes, I have searched!)

A mate and I have just finished fitting a T28 to my S13, got it running, set the Profec A at 1.0bar took it for a drive but both controller and mechanical gauge still read 0.7bar? I've checked for boost leaks and made sure all the pipes are tight. The turbo also came with a adjustable Forge actuator, but surely it won't make a difference if I'm running the Profec??

Just to add, I have the correct mods to support (STG2 chip, walbro, filter etc).

    Thanks.

shorten the actuator arm and see if your boost goes up

Tried it, went for a drive, set the boost controller at 1.0bar but it only hits 0.9 and then seems to drop off??

It's a Forge one with uprated spring.

Nope, not touched the controller at all.

well... if you set the boost level, and the car doesn't reach it, then you must rase the gain level a bit and see if it reaches... if it passes, then you lower it a bit...

This is interesting, Is your boost dropping off, or does it just seem to have a maximum boost level of 7 psi?
