immense looking car
One word 'amazing'
How much power do you estimate it at?
Look forward to the full spec.
I don't really know where to start with a comment on this car; you have basically achieved what I am dreaming of achieving in the next few years.
I think you need to get some of those pictures from the construction together into a retrospective build thread, as there are so many points of the car I am very interested to see! -How you have sorted the packaging at the front of the engine bay, and the air extraction from the rear of the front wheel arches in particular I'd like to see more detail on.
Congratulations on getting it finished, I'm imagining that first moment when I get out the pitlane in my car for the first time... I bet you can't wait for that moment yourself which isn't too far away now!!

truely awsome job .love the wide arch kit.
This car proves there is life in the 200SX yet. What an awesome car!
Spec list is nice too, needs some massive power!
For now it will have to do with whatever power that produces!
My funds ran out long ago and i went massivly over budget. So engine had to wait as it is the only bit i will have to pay someone to do i think.
Plus as it is a track car, every second of its life it will be getting s**t beat out of it so i dont want an unrelyable engine.
In the long run i will be either going with a stroker kit ,and the sorting a sequential box.
or when i do another shell, fitting a supra engine.
Anything over 350hp for now would be nice, as it should handle well enough to make up time on corners.
Fking amazing work!
that is immense! amazing work, i want one!!!
EPIC BUILD, looks awesome, you can sleep easy knowing that the past 3 years wasnt a waste. have you any plans to use it in time attack?
Best 200sx Ever
top work
that really is amazing, there is nothing wrong to be said of it. Very nice build!
Awsome work fella! I love it!
That is just fcuking stunning. The best 200 i have seen by a mile. It reminds me of one of the Thundersaloon series racers from the late 80's.
I bow down to you sir::::
Thanks for all the comments guys, it makes it all feel worth it.
Well seeing as though i hae nothing to do for the day i thought id trawl through all the pics id taken and post a few up as requested.
There are far too many and im getting bored of resizing now so there's just a couple from each stage. If anyone wants to see certain bits in more detail then ill see if i can find some more.
So she started off life as a 14a which was my daily drive that id had for a couple of years, It had just reached 100k and was getting tired and a little rusty.
Id had a mint red s14 sat in my garage for a couple of years with the intention of doing something special with, but as it was in much better condition than my 14a and with only half the mileage, i decided to swap them round.
Although i kept the good engine for the track car.
So it then got stripped down to a rolling shell and went away for a roll cage putting in.
I got them to do the basic 6 point cage as i had no means of bending tube of that diamiter. Then i would do the rest of the straight bits, like the front turrets and all the triangulation etc.
When i eventually got it back, i started to find the extent of the rust when the axle stand went straight up through the sill.
so i cut it all out and welded in fresh metal
A couple of pics from doing the cage, its all built from 45mm CDS.
Boot floor out
Shows what was removed from the 1/4's
front arches
There's no point posting a pic of every single detail or id be here all day.
So here it is primed
If you get the chance i think you should pull the whole build together for the projects section as this has to be the most hardcore 200 build on this board to date
well done.
Sex on wheels. Absolutely fkin hard as nails gorgeous
Any chance of a couple of nice hi-res shots of her now the window is in? I feel a new desktop wallpaper coming on here
That is truly awesome
