They may do one - inputs go to special box, box dumps data on CAN bus.

Don't think they do, pretty sure I read a post on the forum where Pat said something along the lines of, 'want more inputs? Buy S8'
Unless he could be coerced, somehow?

I'm sure Charlie mentioned something about it - its not available now - might not happen I spose.

How do you connect your dash (AIM MXL Strada?) to the Solaris, serial or CAN?

Any reason for that? Or just the way it happened?

I dont think the dash supports can
EDIT: Just checked on their web site and I think it does support CAN - just that RS232 was suggested by pat and its dead easy to setup

The MXL Strada does that's what you have, isn't it?.

Would this work on a rb25 s13?

Yes, it'll work on most engines up to 6 cylinders

Solaris is the chosen system for single supras, we love them. The safety features are great, we had a member who had a build costing 25k and a arse who knew nuthing about the cars tried to removed a bottom pulley by using heat and shocking it. Needless to say the pulley failed not so long after taking out the oil pump, and a whole lot more. The solaris system saw the loss of oil pressure and killed the engine instantly, which saved alot of components in doing so.
The system is one of the best and I would recommend it to anyone who is serious about management systems.

They are great value for money - Motec features at much lower prices. My S13 runs one, loads of Supras and Subarus run them and I mapped a Sierra cosworth yesterday with great results.
There are loads of safety features built in - the one I like (but haven't setup yet) is that it does fuel pressure vs manifold pressure trip. Fuel pressure is usually around 3.5 bar + boost prssure. If the ECU sees the fuel pressure drop below that figure you can get it to cut completely or drop boost back to base etc.

They are a true savoir if anything untoward happens. Really nice piece of kit.
