All the staged ECU upgrades we sell are for a standard engine. They'll be fine for a forged rebuilt engine but you will need to make sure that the engine isn't detonating - your compression ratio will probably be different to standard.

We will get the ECU back in the post the day after we receive it. We can ship to use using normal post which will take around 7-10 days or if you prefer we can send it FedEx/DHL and it'll be a lot quicker, but more expensive.

Well it was done on a Dyno Dynamics setup, exactly the same as your runs, so won't be a million miles out...

There were several other S14/a's on the day running your chips and results seemed to be spot on, so I have no reason to doubt that result.

Think I'll hang fire and see how 2a develops, as I've already got 555's but not fitted them yet as I wasn't sure if it was worth going to 2

I'm actually running 16psi now though as you said it could take more with the FMIC & I don't set the KS -3 off (unless I hit the rev-limiter )
Will I notice a difference just changing to your new stage 1a & going up 1psi?
Come on Jez – sell it to me

Should point out I found 16 psi was only possible with the Apexi filter in a cold air box…

I'm getting bits together to go stage 1a in March or so now. Given the boost situation with stage 1a, am I right in guessing 2a will add more power at the top end than in the midrange?

You wouldn't have any afm charts of the stage 1, for comparison purpose?

    Cheers, Patrick.

We might get a bit in the mid-range, but I'm guessing it'll be more top end power.

Not on these rollers. You might be able to find a graph somewhere - lots of people run the stage 1 setup.

If you can get it to run 1.2bar in the mid range your car will be quicker

It'll probably be ok, but obviously we've not tested anything yet.

It should be ok, but an electronic controller is better
