    Home Counties Local Tool List

    Basically list any unusualish tools that you have and would be happy lending out to other members in the area


    Ive got :-

    1ton folding engine crane
    engine stand
    compression tester
    valve spring compressor
    consult tool
    loads more

    anything else just ask as im a mechanic by trade so got loads of spanners sockets etc

    I am also in possession of a serial Consult Cable (with a laptop that has a serial port ) and Compression Tester

    Did have a hole saw at one point (useful for FMIC hole cutting) but I'm not sure if I still have it. I will investigate and update this post if I find it

    We have:

    2 ton engine crane
    Caliper rewind tool
    Engine stand
    Angle grinder
    Flood lights
    Air compressor

    And probably another 101 things but cant think at the moment

    Easiest way is to get 2 bits of plate with a hole in the middle, put a long bolt through the plate, bush, subframe, bush, plate and then put a nut onto the bolt and tighten

    The force from the bolt/nut will press the bushes in

    beds and herts - recovery

    hi guys- i work for a recovery company and use a tilt and slide crew cab lorry, can get lowerd cars on too (and can get cars out of ditches and off the roofs ect too

    so if any one needs needs me pm for my number.

    can also remove scrap cars & vans also if you have a log book.

    I have the following.
    Clutch allignment tool
    set of easy outs
    set of taps
    set of rounded nut/bolt removers
    caliper rewind tool
    brake pipe bending / flaring tool
    trolley jack
    axle stands
    few other bits and bobs i cant think of.
