What's involved in fitting a Stage 1a ECU upgrade?

    Hi Jez,

I'm not a total newbie with circuit boards and was wondering what is involved with fitting? Is it a resolder or replacement of an existing chip? I've not taken my ECU apart yet so no clue what's inside.

    Thanks

You have to suck solder out of about 40 holes adn then solder in a couple of fine ribbon cables. We recommend that we fit the ECU upgrades - its fiddley.

Fair enough, sounds sensible to me but it means being without the car for a good few days I guess. What's your normal turnaround?

Sorry, just realised this went in the wrong section, sorry!

We will get your ECU in the post the day after we receive it, at the lastest - we can usually do it same day
