    Update!!!!
The coilover issue was a complete fiasco. I got 3 off no problem but the front passanger required the whole hub to be removed and in doing so I destroyed a Tein rod end A big hammer was used with gusto and a very mangled bolt was removed.
"Pizzaboy" and I trecked to sunderland for JDM Allstars to hand them over to the DW lads. It was a week till they could look at them due to the damage their cars had taken.
The result of there inspection.......stuck adjusters but other than that the shocks were in "the best condition they'd seen in a while" So they sent them back up and my mate and I (he mostly stood around with his hands in his pockets) re fitted them, and the new rod ends. Then got the car home. That was a nice waste of £90 for the inspection at the garage that told me they were seized, £80 on replacement rod ends and £30 to dw for inspection and return (best customer service EVER!!!!!), then another £50 for re alignment (at a different place)

Less than 24hrs later my mum (poor thing) put the trailer hitch into the front of the car while I was at work

I wasn't angry, just resinged to my usual luck.

I got the bumper to my painter on the monday....2 weeks later and I have the car back and in rude health. I also had narrower tyres fitted to the rear to stop rubbage.
Anyway, some pics of it freshly painted and showing some new stickers and updated interior shots.

    What damage?

    Stickers

    Interior: Cage n relocated gauges

    You guys approve?

Next on the list is fitting of subframe locking collars, new rear bearings (already pressed into spare hubs), swap out stupid solid engine mounts for the nismo ones I have sitting here, get rear arches rolled n go lower.
Then if all goes to plan....new wheels....that will bankrupt me due to the need for 5 stud conversion and much, much wider arches.

    Cheers guys

@ steff: tbh till that morning the plate was gaffa taped to the window. The tape gave way and I used the visor to hold it in place. It fell off yesterday lol.

The rims I'm after will be my perfect wheels, not got them for sure yet. These ones will be up for sale if it goes through.

@wullie: cheers buddy. Really hope I can make the meet/photo shoot on thurs...dunno when works due to finish though

LOL lemme know how the cops like it. Mine had been up there for around 18 months and I've had no trouble.

The wheels will be going on here first. Defo want to keep them in the club.

Sweet, cheers! Aye, due for some good luck. Oh and of course there is no "end". I'll keep fitting more stuff, things will break...its to be expected.

Cheers mate. If i lowered it to get rid of the gap the bumper would be about 2 inches from the ground and I wouldn't be able to get off my drive.
You do have the power to help though.......

Yeah mate. There is a metal plate fitted under the tape. I'll seal it in once I have an oil pressure gauge and move the boost meter back onto the dash.

Was good to meet you to mate. always good to meet new folks. Are you suffering after the van food? mine was fine, 1 slice of bacon was a little tight for a large roll though.

New Year...New update. Time to pull my finger out.

Over the course of 2010 I got quite a few things done:

Installed roll cage and refitted rear panels

Fitted sidelights/indicators. These are for a later silvia so needed to trim the bumper recess a little:

Got some plates from "Swiftmini" to cover a couple of larger holes due to not having arch liners:

Removed my old catch tank and the carbon canister:

Bodged a bracket due to new one not fitting:

    Pretty neat:

    Bought a shiney bit:

Then in November my trip meter and mileometer stopped working. So I took the clocks apart and unjammed it with a small screwdriver. Unfortunately when I put the clocks back in I'd lost the dash lights for the 0>50mph side of the speedo and couldn't get them working again.
After looking for a full replacement cluster and only finding on on here for £100 I thought I'd ask a local if he had a spare.

Massive thanks to JOD for giving me his old spare set....for nowt!

I swapped out some bits then added these:

And was back on the road.

    Then this arrived

    This was my work yard:

During 2010 I've been stockpiling other bits I've been after and getting a hold of more pieces of the jigsaw.
I'll put them in my next update. Should be tomorrow or Friday.
