Cheers nash, appreciate that buddy. I'm really happy with how the car sits at the moment, just need to sort the alignment out lol.

    I'm using a Nikon D300 & Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 for these shots. All handheld

Looking spot on as always daz. Nice figures to
Thanks Chris. It looks spot on in the photo's but they car looks friken disgusting at the moment, badly needs a proper wash, clay bar and polish, the interior needs a scrub, the boot needs emptiying and the turbo gaskets need changing.

The car is pissing me off at the moment as I've got to wait til next weekend before I can do any bits on it .

I will be happy with it again soon though I'm sure

So watch out for the update coming up

    Yay, update time.

Finally finished all my uni work so that means I can finally get to work on the car again.

The car had been running pretty shite for a while as the turbo gasket had gone so loads of fuel being used with practically no power lol.

Headed over to Mark's again (Thanks again buddy ), and thanks to my mate Paul for all his help and taking the camera for the day after I set it up and gave him some pointers, I think he done really well.

I'll let the photo's do most of the talking .

All I will say is the car drives brilliantly again, as a Lotus Exige owner found out later in the evening

Out with the old standard seat....

....in with the new, although I'm not greatly happy with the seating position although the seat really holds me in place nicely.

mind you old gasket didn't look to bad no splits etc,

i know what you mean with sitting position , on the base mount the front of seat is to high and lifts your legs, mines the same even with a bride low mount

The old gasket was fine but I had a new one so replaced it. Once we got everything off the car it became clear that the nuts had loosened off a bit, doh.

I think the entire seat sits higher in mine, not just the front. I’m not entirely sure if mines a super low subframe or not. You got a photo of your subframe?

To be fair I only wanted your help when I got stuck so I wasn’t expecting you to do all the work, and you were testing out how comfy the seat was lol.

What pics are ban worthy? I’ll have to re-use them whenever I can lol.

It's not really that dirty a job to be honest. Only messy bit is when the fluid goes all over the floor.

This is the third time the turbo has come off now aswell so I'm getting used to doing it.

Connect the blue wire to the red wire then bobs your uncle

Let me know when you want me to pop up mate and I'll come up there. Cant do this coming weekend as there's a nice beer festival going on .

    alright Daz,

I just wanted to say I have read through this whole thread and I think you have done an amazing job with a daily driven car!
How you have slowly tuned this car but still also used it everyday to get you around.

I have to admit , it is one of the most stunning damson's/200sx around, I dont think there is a better look for a s14a than all standard bumpers, splitters and spoilers. Finishing the car off nicely with the ROTA's and lowered suspension.

Keep up the good work because it is inspiring and good to read.

    Si
