Can't believe I've missed this thread. Amazing car man!
awesome work mate, that video is funny and wow its rapid!
Tiny bit of an update.
Been trying to enjoy the car as much as possible but as the weather has been getting worse it's been getting more and more dangerous to drive. Last time I took the car out the wheels were spinning up in 5th gear so decided it's time to put her back in the garage.
Decided to clean up the leather seats a bit as they had gotten a little manky over the years......I just didn't realise just how bad they were lol.
All the dust from the engine bay work had gotten into the boot lock and clogged it up so I stripped that down, cleaned it, greased it and put it all back together. It all works nicely again now.
Last snaps before coming off the road.
The next stage of the car will be fun. This tool will be used a fair amount I would have thought .
What did you use to clean the seats. Looks like a good job

Please put a guard on that grinder. They hurt so much.
This and a clean microfibre cloth.

I removed the guard as it just kept getting in the way all the time.
Handy to know. I have some in the garage did you have to scrub it much?

Went out in Greg's S14a at the weekend after he's just had it polybushed. It's made me realise just how bad mine are so before the weekender. The task is to polybush the entire car. The rear of the car are still on all the original mounts lol.
As in you haven't polybushed your subframe??
When I first joined this forum your car was one of my favourites I'd go as far as to say inspirational. But with this shocking revelation its shuck the foundations of my appreciation.
Ha ha, burn.

Daz in wanting tighter rear end shocker!
Up in the air she goes.
one of the subframe studs snapped which was a shame but already sourced a replacement.
Subframe all off, looks a right state.
Then some fire, got to say, I hate this. Absolutely stinks and it takes ages. Might cut the others out.
New lockout kit arrived from Jon200 on here, thanks buddy.
100% cut them out, fire takes way too long.
Burning them out isn't too bad with a proper blow torch.

If you just heat the metal it it melts the glue and you can just push the bushes out
