Yer that'll make it really easy to tuck all the plugs then.

I managed to get mine to this without removing anything:

Dont mind the rest of the shit tip haha (it doesn't look that bad now).

Which company did you use to get the roof spoiler buddy? Or did you go straight to Origin themselves? I've found a few companies that do it, but not what you would call cheap to ship. One wanted $450 just for shipping!!

Went straight through origin mate. Can't remember how much I paid now, think it was around £180.

cheers dave. iirc will be 4 years in october.

not a very exciting update but an update none the less. :roll eyes:

drove the car a few weeks back and the car was struggling to boost over 1 bar. upon further inspection i found the culprit.

to be honest them greedy hoses have done pretty well to last this long. so thought i may as well replace a few of the other greddy hoses whilst Im at it.

big thanks for roose motorsport again who got these sent out within a day of ordering them .

    all fitted

this weekend i managed to get a few jobs done on the car, first up was to sort out my bonnet pins. for a while now they have slowly became a tad rusty.

so replaced them with some new black pins sorry for the dodgy phone pics.

next up i started to clean up my rad brackets which have also suffered from the rust. haven't finished these yet so know finished pics.

also finally ditched the rear wiper

    before

    after

just need to get another grommet for the washer jet now.

and finally toady i finally got round to replacing all the blue vacuum hoses in the bay for some black roose hose. no pics of them unfortunately.

thanks petrol means a lot coming from someone like yourself

been a while since I've done an update

il start off with some pics from the weekender. car behaved it self all weekend and was the first time iv taken her on a proper track so was good to see how the car performed and to see what can be improved for next time.

thanks for everyone who got any pics of the motor

first couple sessions the car was struggling for grip plus i managed to snap a jubilee clip on one of the boost hoses. so didnt get back on track til the afternoon after i bought a replacment clip. the afternoon sessions were pretty damp so the car was still strugling for grip but seemed to be better once i softened up the rear coilys.

couple vids with daz as passenger, car was on middle boost setting (around 1.1 bar) all weekend. didnt really feel the need for full boost.
    part 1

    part 2

got one more vid on my laptop in the dry including me spinning off but unfortunately the the exposure setting on the go pro wasn't right so didnt come out too well :-(

thought id pimp out my helmet for the track day too haha

right couple weeks back decided it was about time i fit my spare defi. been thinking for a while now where to put it, not really too keen on pillar pods so thought id try make a custom pod from a spare steering cowling iv had laying around.

heres the first mock up. i tried sitting it on top of the cowling but the gauge was sitting too high blocking part of my speedo/rev dials. so had no choice to sink it in the cowling.

as you can see it blocks out the speedo up too 30mph but tbh i can probably live with that. you can also see that you cant see the whole gauge so had to cut out more of the cowling, like so.

    much better.

    first coat of fibreglass.

    second coat of fibreglass

this is where im currently at with it, still plenty of work left to do on it but im pleased with the progress so far

had to buy a long length of defi link meter cable so that i can daisy chain it to the other defi`s so whilst ordering it up i may have bought these too

havent fitted these yet, as i may wait til the winter to fit em , bought some other goodies for the car but il leave them for another update

i will leave you with this though.

new super low dw seat rail, got to love drift works wrapping paper haha.

    bride porn

thanks to marc for selling me this. got a couple of real small scratches but once mounted you cant see them, apart from that the seat is immaculate. worth mentioning the seat weighs absolutely nothing too

got to love a bride/takata combo

only problem i have now is that i now want a bride for the passenger . thinking of going for a recliner for the passenger though. think il eventually swap the dw rail for a bride item too.

thats it for now. will have some more updates coming up over the next few weeks

    thanks,thats the plan

ok so this weekend decided to take apart my spare diff.

bought this a few weeks back

so yesterday me and a mate decided to fit the new diff and install it in the car. new diff installed

filled it up with oil and fitted to the car last night. first drive it sounded horrendous felt like it was jus rattling around in the casing. once i found a nice big car park i proceeded with the bedding in process. 1/2 hour later and the noises had gone, so came home and done the 2nd oil change. had a drive about today and all is in working order. havent really had a chance to properly test it out yet but it feels much better cornering already.

    right just a small update.

finally got round to finish off the gauge pod. how it turned out before flock.

decided to get my arm rest redone as over time its started to wear and peel

a mate of mine was getting a dash flocked by banbury flocking so asked him if he could add my few bits to his. can highly recomend them. was very well priced and the end product is flawless. when we dropped off the bits they had a few maclaren mp-12c carbon dashes there to be flocked ready for there gt3 cars.

    really pleased with the outcome

    all fitted

had to order a longer defi link cable from the states

haven't connected up my water temp yet as i need to order a few parts to fit it. plus for the time being i have a water temp reading on my pfc. also havent had the chance to test them all out yet as i got a flat battery lol

Thats some bloody neat work there mate! Awesome!

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!
