Guess that list's a bit old then I'm sure there's some up to date websites somewhere
What's the URL for trailwise?

If you have to be a member of GLASS or similar organisation to be able to register and get to the good bits but its free to browse the maps and look for lanes
Dont forget to link the gearbox and engine breathers to the snorkel
Did my first bit of proper offroading last night A member of a local LR club has a farm and has built his own course on it not very big but quite hard work. Got a bit stuck a few times but managed to get out of it each time
Was good fun
Discovered though the 'plough' on the back has to go
Looks like a hell of alot of fun to be had there Mark,
I'm very jealous, always wanted and Landy to do a bit of green laning thumbs:
Looks the business too with a few fairly easy mods
Your going to need deep pockets, winch, chainsaw, knitec recovery ropes, locking diffs, proper tyres its endless if your going to get serious, winch is invaluable you need that top of the list
Scary stuff Db dan had the same issue iirc
1998 Nissan 200sx s14a , 2000 std 5 speed with nismo supercoppermix clutch bn6 Sapphire Blue
Saw a kinetic rope do that two weeks ago and put a HOLE in the rear chassis of a Range Rover
Also know a man who saw a whole NATO hitch go through a back window, seat, chest and windscreen. Obv it didnt end nicely
Time for some more pics
Difference between standard cat pipe and decat
Wheels turned up and were a rather boring silver so I spiced them up a bit
What they look like on
Close up so you can just see the steering guard
Got a few stickers as well (a few more need to go on but I am waiting for some others first).
Looking good Mark - how many slogan based stickers are you going to put on it?
I had a similar tow-bar on my Defender and it just used to act like a mud anchor.....
Disco looks great , I used to offroad a disco van when I had more disposable income, I kinda miss it
Lol, I used to compete in winch challenges nationally (okay twice) and I never once wanted or needed a chainsaw. But +2 on the winches, and dont forget uprated axle internals/new axles, long travel suspension, bead lockers, roll cage/tube wings/spaceframe etc if you want to get spendy
You are missing a 'One Life - Live It' sticker Mark. They seem to be compulsory
I seem to have acquired a Series 3 SWB landy over the weekend. Ooops
Good choice of wheel paint. It won't show the mud so much. Result!! Wash less
