    Tyre pressure for drag radials?

Anyone have any recommendations for tyre pressure when using Mickey Thompson street ET drag radials?

Remember being at pod with Richie trying these, think it was a case of keep lowering them till it made you slower... think 20psion start

From memory, 9-11psig seemed to yield the best results

    what he said ^^^

we use about 18psi as we still need some wheelspin to get off the line without breaking a driveshaft

Big Tone gave me a kick told me to grow some balls and run them at 4psi but I suggest you start out higher. 4psi is note exactly the recomended level

Tried a few different pressures in the end, from 18 psi down to 11, lower pressures gave best results, 11.79@123 with 1.9 60ft, best terminal was 130, really pleased with that as the car is not set up for drag at all

you'll ruin the car if you go chasing numbers ken

just be happy with what you've acheived and work on your technique for next year
