    Best time to buy Euro's?

I've noticed the pound is very strong against the Euro at the moment, I'm very tempted to buy a few hundred in now.

What does everyone else think, do you reckon it will get worse or better?

It's impossible to predict. However, despite the current turmoil in Europe at the moment, the exchange rate has remained relatively stable and pretty much level over the last couple of weeks. It has been hovering around the €1.15/£1, give or take, for the last couple of months or so with relatively little fluctuation. Our economy isn't really a lot stronger than the Euro zone, so I wouldn't expect much change.

As above I think it's likely to get better but we'll see. It's looking like a pretty good rate at the moment. This is the 12 month graph:

Plop might impact the spinning thing if Portugal or Spain needs a bit of assistance, there will be a major major issue then. If Spain needs a financial package then the whole Euro may very well collapse.
I would prob steer clear of it for the time being

1.10 to 1.23 on the graph above. That's 10% difference which is £50 in every £500 spent.

It is also worth bearing in mind that you won't get the official exchange rate that is reported in the financial news - it will always be a few cents less/£.
