This thread wouldn't have anything to do with a facebook comment would it?

    Looking really tidy mate
Kyle has done some really nice fab work.

My only concern is that it might be a little underpowered

    yeah my old Westy.

When I built the car it was built for performance and not for looks. Also didn't help that I had such limited time to build the car in

anyhow excuse the workmanship, it was a case of it's my car and it performed as it should the only car I've ever driven which put a smile on my face everytime I got out of it

Although the engine mount doesn't look pretty, try breaking it

Anyhow keep up the good work Jez nice to see it being done as it should have been

    Dan

Started cutting up the carbon dashboard today:

Going to fit the digi dash later on when we've finalised the position of the steering column.

Nice buttons. What does the one without an icon do, top right? Hopefully not an oil slick

Main beam flash - can't get momentary switches with the right symbols unfortunately.

I think he's right - its going to be a bastard to drive. Fun though

On Anthonys turbo hayabusa we're going for drive by wire throttle, so we can (hopefully) get it drivable and avoid the "first 20% of throttle movement does 100% of the power" problem that most turbo engines have. We'll see.

I don't really know how the weight of the SR compares to other more conventional engines. Probably not a huge amount in it and having almost double the power of the NA engine will help.

I'll get it on the scales when we're done.
Still got to be lighter than my Xflow was, that made just shy of 150Bhp and we all saw how quick she was at the various weekenders
300bhp will be epic in that

The first few pictures really make me appreciate the skill of the guy that rebuilt mine in ally - wish I still had her
