I can't come this year but will be there next year.
Have fun everyone and stay away from English women Jamie, you will only get rejected again which still makes me laugh when I remember it.

Going by eurotunnel as it's closer, quicker, more convenient and only costs about £10 more - you still want the full deposit for camping etc

hehe - My excuse is only because I'm really REALLY sick of changing manifold on my car. Sure I'll manage it though. I will probably come, but don't want to camp. Is anyone getting a cheap hotel?

What are you lot doing getting to Dover? driving through the night on Tuesday, or you planning on going down Tuesday day and staying over somewhere near Dover that night?

Still unsure what the hell to do.. Drove the to Germany before (for the World Cup) and took the tunnel, so thinking about that, as I remember the drive not being to bad..

    Tunnel, Dover, Hull..

I'm still trying to decide what to do.

Hull ferry is better for me but requires an extra day off work on the return.

I could leave Nurburg at 8am on Monday, get the mid/late afternoon ferry from Dover and be home for before midnight.

If I left Nurburg for he 18:30 Zeebrugge ferry etc it would be Tuesady lunch when I got home.

The dover ferry gets into dunkirk (sp) @ about 8am, it takes about 30mins to get from calais to dunkirk so was thinking about getting the 6.45 / 7am train.

Ok cheers, I was thinking about the same. I'm now not sure if I should just drive through the night to get to Folkstone or stay somewhere near the night before...

makes sense if your only taking the one car now ben

i get paid tomoroow so will be paying up or booking my own, think its easier just to let cornwall book mine. lol. i was going o be cheeky and we found the ferry pricing cheaper at certain times, but meh. normal times will do for me.

Book cheap times but turn up early - preferably before the rest of the convoy
