What advantages would a flexi downpipe have over this one?
The group buy is open until the end of the month but if there's no more takers by then I'll sort something for you
The twin down pipe will give better ground clearance so is ideal for those of you with super low cars
What about if you're not low? Would this be better or a flexi?
I really need one of these but am financially ruined as have tax mot and insurance also need to service my car this month. If my car goes through the mot (it should as i have changed so much on it recently!) then ill let you know before the 31st.
In terms of gas flow the flexi downpipe does have the advantage as it is a 2.75" inlet opening to a 3" bore where the twin downpipe is a 3" bore which splits to 2 x 2.5" bores then back to 3".
However the twin downpipe is designed to sit closer to the car giving greater ground clearance without restricting gas flow.
The purpose of the flexi is purely to prevent the elbow from potentially cracking, however we are unfortunately out of stock of the flexi downpipes at the moment.
The deadline for this is getting closer, guys. Surely there must be more interest in this?
