1 part thinners, 1/2 part petrol, lol. It was an attempt to soften the paint. FAIL.

Whoop! Glad to see them getting some tough love lol.
You gonna get the lips fixed or just run em like I did?
Got the wheels finished and fitted, took ages to re-do up the split rims. lol, and find some tyres that wernt fooked.
Unfortunately they are so much wider the car doesnt fit on my trailer anymore! sods law! Look well though.
Took some pictures and reversed the car back up the drive, where upon the engine decided it didnt like the very expensive race oil i'd put in! , panic stations however it turns out to have just been the oil filter seal not sitting in right, was fine for a while then shat itself! lol Sorted now though, got the TOW stickers on, battery box fitted. Hopefully it didnt do any damage to the engine, I had it off as soon as I realised so should be cool.
Revised List To Do
- Fibreglass firewall at baulkhead.
- 2kg AFFF Extinguisher to fit under drivers seat.
- Indicators, Horn and wipers.
- Rear view Mirror.
Cheers for looking
Ian
And flare on the rear arches and that is going to look sweet
And is that 32 you daily??? If so that accompanied with a sick s13 would make me very very jealous. Hahaaa
Rear arches are already 50m wider, lol. cant flare fibreglass.
Its my daily but its also fooked, project thred in non s-body chassis, Engine blew last month! just as it was looking well too.

Cars loaded and ready to go, come see me at Teesside this weekend!
Loving the project mate, hoping to be a fellow S13 owner myself again this summer, so ill head to a few track days and might cya there!
p.s great choice on the kit and white paint, looks awesome!
Was good to see you mate, unfortunately didnt qualify for top 16, weather was aweful on Saturday and fooked up my first two qualifying runs, went steady on the third to get some points on the board but obviously wasnt good enough. Twinning on Sunday mornign in the dry tho was the best thing ever! ! Hopefully will sort some pics up, but the car worked and still works! cant believe it! lol
Some pics:
Actuator wil not hold pressure so going to put the standard one back on with a EBC, been stuck at 7psi - also need to sort out some bonnet pins for Rnd 2 and maybe a short shifter, kept missing 2nd gear. Oh and a gear gator wouldnt go a miss, pulled my centre console off on one run instead of the handbrake. lol
Ian
Damn, those wheels look good now....the shiny bolts set em off perfectly.....should have charged you more lol
Two More
Gave the car a clean and fitted a blitz E SBC boost controller! Thing pre-dates the tape deck but was cheap and seems promising. Lol
nice up date.
Managed to get a sponsor of sorts, in the form of http://www.wefixalloys.co.uk/ , sorted me out with plenty of tyres:
Decided that the front bottom arms had too much adjustability for what I need, and were a pain to get right. So I made up some lengthened standard bottom arms, made these about 30m longer, with removed bump stops. The standard ball joints are much easier to replace and keep dirt out well too.
Ian
Ball joints were a bastard to pull up tight but got there in the end, even tacked a bit of weld on for extra measure to stop them comming lose. On extending the bottom arms I must have increased the track some what as the track rod ends / track rods ran out of adjustability, so to make things safe and good for any future mods I also extended these by 30mm.
Pics:
There is no more room for added lock without modifications to the front tension rods and some further chassis leg beating. Will do for now.
Ian
crazy man.
sleeve the tie rods/ steering arms!!
You think a sleeve would be sensible like?
Cool, il pul them back off over the weekend then and beef them up, they are already uprated items like.
