Really quite a giggle actually. Bear this in mind if they're really this bad!

It really is mental. It looks like its made of cheese!!!
Just saw this on facebook about 15 mins ago and thought it was hilarous.... but also scary at the same time! Imagine being in a crash with one of those wheels
I've been in one recently remember
I didn't mash my face into my genuine MOMO wheel thanks to having both hands on the wheel and it being 60mm closer to me (driftworks removable boss) so my arms were in a better crash position.
Plus my head fitted in the sunroof gap quite nicely which probably also helped lol
Actully, just watched the vid, lol that's defo not the same as the one iv been using!
They should do the same thing for Fake Brides, etc.
Sorry dude, wasn't thinking
The reason I say it is, well, tbh I was told by a mechanic friend of mine that airbag + seat pre-tensioners work together to allow the driver to "meet the airbag" and as such allowed a little movement forward. If it's not the case I'll stand corrected.
Crazy that video!
In normal use I suspect most people will be ok with them... but it's not normal use where it matters.
If something goes wrong - like power steering failure as an example or having a crash and bracing yourself with the wheel (this is what most people do) it'd be pretty bad if the wheel failed - could cause a serious issue.
Are there no standards for steering wheels? Like strength requirements etc? If not, there should be for sure. I know what I'd buy if I wanted to replace my S15 wheel... and I'd be giving that bearded fellow a shout for one of his finest wheels
Agreed, and to be fair I wasn't implying they did. The safety hadn't really fussed me, the cheap crap nature of the product did
It also means that if you have one and haven't bent it yet, then you're not gangster enough
Gangsta leeeeaaaan
I actually think we might be onto a winner here testing eBay products...not just for cars but other things also
