You're thinking in terms of mass bud, have to think in pressure and it's a whole different game. It's just a tip on the lifters

Hope you don't mind Lee but as there's been quite a bit of talk about aero in the last few pages I thought you might find this useful. I always thought the reverse facing air ducts pulled air out but this shows it well. I still don't understand whats happening with the rear spoiler though lol.

Where the air gets pushed down and also the smoke trail gets thinner (free stream high above the car at the start of vids is very different to anywhere near the body) this is it being accelerated --> faster = lower pressure. So even though the air isn't direct up much at all by the wing, it is accelerated under the surface, and therefore creates downforce... conversely, the whole of the upper body makes lift.

Good find BTW Daz, I'm sure Blaktooth and other guys interested in homemade aero will be interested to see A2 Wind Tunnel's Youtube Channel. The Ferrari 458 and Ford GT race cars are interesting to see how effective the front ducting is; Ferrari has far better re-attachment over the bonnet, Ford very messy. Hopefully with more ducting Blaktooth (and I) can aim to get close to either!

Hopefully or I just wasted £100, ha! Looking to keep the installation neat and tidy so the original overflow bottle will probably be switched out for a custom can. The can can then be mounted to the left of the rad away from the airfilter and close to the breather tank. Fortunately I have a mate that can knock up exactly what I'm after. To be honest, if the system works as it should then the overflow bottle should remain dry, it's only there as a fail safe.

In other news, I'm still waiting for the Greddy diff plate to arrive from Japan. Overnight is a myth

Correct. Plus it's baffled so the oil shouldn't slosh about.

The difference will be no oil spilling out the breather in the pits, hopefully.

...pretty much down to the wear markers after one day at Rockingham Front pads are about 75% worn as well. I need sponsorship as this car's getting stoopid.

The bar's are Whitelines. Got them from Dan at SRB Power. He might know if the links can be purchased seperately.

Yep, B&K know their stuff. They have Freddie Hunt driving their Clio in the GT Cup this year as well!
