The sum of the parts is greater than the whole.

i dropped the sr off at dannys this morn and picked up the inlet gasket. i finished work early today so went up the lockup and got a few bits done fitted the inlet with new gasket, fitted the front subframe.ground down the rust and under sealed it from where danny had a garage welded it and they left the rust on the other side. bloody garages

then i made a new rear brake line as the engine was out makes it easyer as we are removing the abs.then fitted the engine (copied from what jay wrote on my other club thread)

    a little update,

jay managed to fit the rear brakes, during the week, and while i was up there we filled up the engine with oil, gearbox took some oil but not quite full yet, we bled the brakes, and the clutch, also we fitted my new catch can and i fitted the front wheels with my new nuts , but the piece of pipework i wanted never turned up so thats yet to to be fitted.

while i was up there jay was going to fit up the handbrake mecagnism but it was too short so we striped the rear of his car and stole his one then we struggled to take his subframe to the top of the lock up, up the stairs lol.. anyways heres the pics...
    new brakes

    waiting to be fitted

    fitted

wheels are on with new blue nuts

    spot the catch can

    and again

    close up
