Just get someone to lazercut a T2 flange, chop off the old one and tig on the new one. Tidy up the flow with an air tool - sorted.
This is exactly what i will be doing with my brand new manifold anyways
well we may be able to make it easier than that, We have been listening to you guys on this thread and we are just looking at making a mock up of a top mount conversion kit that would come with a downpipe and manifold and will include a flange adapter plate to allow you to use this with either a standard turbo or other top mount options.
If its seems viable we may put this into production in the future.

Big +1 for the top mount with down pipe, as said in the above post, people are going to the lengths of buying the t3 then making there own with a t2.
