    Filthy to shiny Red S14

I've been to detail is tidy S14 today, which is primarily a track car, so has spent a lot of it's time parked up outside gathering dirt in the nooks and crannies:

So the car was thoroughly washed, clayed, polished and protected, looking like this at the end of the day

what do you use on the plastic trim ... it was looking quite pitted and starting to perish. Is it just some generic plastic back to black type stuff ... or do you work special Jem magic on it ?

Bloody hell. Your results are always quality mate, but to me this is far more impressive. To get an older car looking like that, especially in red, is nothing short of wizardry... I'd be tempted to get you to do the 180 when I'm over for the weekender if you'd be interested (if you're going that is)?

Gtechniq C4, it's not cheap, but it's fantastic!

I will be at the weekender, and will be doing a couple of cars, so it's an option

Excellent, it's badly needed after being off the road for so long. My tailgate window seal has turned a lovely shade of green...

    Wow.... thats a good job!

Did you use c4 on the tyres too or something else?

I used to use Meguiars Hot Shine, it looked great for one day.... then seemed to dull again really quickly.

    Any recomendations?

On another topic.... im really starting to like s14's that have been de-skirted!

I use Meguiars Endurance Tyre gel on the tyres, does a brilliant job and lasts well

Nice one. I guess I'll have to get the bodywork fixed before the weekender so! No point in polishing matt black panes & cable ties!
