Well that was the last show over and done with. By this time clutch had started to slip.

So after only a few months car was coming off road again.

In the garage once again, a 200s natural habitat haha

Now at this point I was not set on what to do.
I don't like SR20s, never have and never will. That goes for all 4 pots. So that engine was coming out and never going back in.

    Now I had two options.

Do I go back to the v8 idea, this was going to be costly, I still had a engine and r154 box but would need manifold, turbo, management injectors and all that to get the power I wanted. It was going to cost alot and thought it would take a while to do.
So I decided against that idea for now.

Well option two original was a cheap one.
I had a 400bhp 33 sitting in corner in need of TLC.* This was going to take a few years to do all the work so I could borrow the engine.

    So it was a plan.
I'm borrowing the RB from 33. After all has only dome 89000 kilometres.
It was a good plan. Cheap engine swap as I have everything I need apart from one or two bits. Well that wasn't the case atall.*

First up was pull engine out of 200.

Next up pull engine out 33.

Was difficult on your own as engine so long and heavy.

Now while it out i obviously wanted to paint it.
Change belt and few other odds.
Needed to check clutch also as was told it a nismo one but had no proof.

Well it was and in good nic so was happy.

First problem I knew I'd have was the fact the bonnet probably won't close on engine with OEM inlet.
I wanted a forward facing plenum. Sothing that looked cool.
Anyway after lots of thinking I got this.

From Australia and made out of billet aluminium, really nice.

So after engine was painted I could see what it was like on. And there welds on my intake that could blow if I run to much nos 😂😂

Yea good a bit meh! Wasent shade I was after but **** it.

Update soon. Car is back out and running now after a wasted year and 9 months where car was away being messed around by someone resulting in bugger all except 1500 quid out of pocket.
