    Service due

I not had my car services for nearly 4000 miles.
I got fuel filter, k&n oil filter what else do I need?

As for oil I want to change my diff, gearbox and engine oil.

Engine oil I been reading threads mixed reviews. What's recommended?

What about diff oil and gearbox oil? As I'm thinking of doing it myself.

4000 miles... it's not due a service, despite what some people will tell you you don't need to service these things every few thousand miles.

As for what to use, there was a thread on here on Friday which discussed what to use etc.

Was just thinking the same. Oh no, a whole 4000 miles on the same oil!

I wouldn't bother changing the oil until 5k, unless you rag it hard on a big build engine.

In actual answer to your question though, for when you want to do it

Engine oil - 4 litres is enough including some left for top ups, and it's a decent quality fully synthetic 5/40 I'd recommend, personally. If it's heavily tuned and / or being used very hard on track then you may wish to go with 10/50. Plenty of threads on this including some oil analysis results if you're up for reading them (I think you have to be a member to view them though)

Gearbox oil - anything GL4 75/90. TBH Nissan oil will do fine. 2.6 litres capacity from memory.

Diff oil - you can use GL5 here and 80/90 would be fine. I think it's just over 2 litres capacity for the diff.

    The current mods I'm running
    Fmic
    Full straight through exhaust
    Apexi manifold
    Apexi induction
    Blitz boost
    Walbro fuel pump

Is 5w30 synthetic best oil? What would you recommend people?

    Also what about spark plugs?

Not for summer mate, 5-40 minimum i would suggest.

Plugs - NGK BCPR7ES coppers are what most use. Less than ten quid, do for 10k no bother.

Depends what the car is used for?
I will be taking mine on a few track days, and Ring in July again, so I will be going for 10w50 Fully Synth. But if it's just a road car just use some 10w40 Fully Synth (take your pick, loads of makes that have got good praises).

As for Sparks what stage are you? If around stage 1 you can either get Copper 7's, or Iridium, it's all down to preference, some people on here have had bad experience with copper's, others with same but for Iridiums.

I use coppers, never had a problem

It's also hideously expensive and beyond the requirements of probably the majority of cars on here.
