    New engine results

    2.2 Gtx30 1.8 bar with poncams: 540.7 bhp and 475 lb/ft. 1 bar @ 3300 rpm, 1.5 @ 3600rpm and 1.8 @ 3950rpm
Think that's it for me now tuning wise, as I'm not interested in chasing massive power as it's mainly a road car, hence the relatively mild cams and turbo size and sensible boost. All that I've got left is fitting the rear brake kit I've got lying around at some point.

Finally it's all done! And no, I'm not now going to put it up for sale lol!

Very nice result. 540bhp for mainly a road car would be interesting to say the least.

nice figure, although not sure if 1.8 bar 540 bhp rear wheel drive car as a daily is what you call sensible tho

    any pictures of it?

Yeah I'm going to need to be very careful in it whilst I get used to it again after driving a 1.0 litre Micra for 3 months! No recent pictures but it is very tidy - the engine is literally the last thing that needed doing. It doesn't rev high as the cams are mild so there is no need - think it's around 7500rpm.

Well, at least there's someone running over 500bhp on poncams, I've got them to fit

In fact I've only got an exhaust poncam. My inlet is a JUN item that is even more mild (slightly less lift)

Err what? Saw Jays RB26 running less power than that fishtailing in 4th on a straight bit of damp tarmac, 500bhp+ is surely going to be mental!

I guess what I meant is that the turbo I'm using is still a relatively sensible size, so it's still very drivable for a road car, at the cost of not making mega hp. Si told me it has the same parts he uses in his 850hp Evo builds, so I could have gone for a much larger turbo and run more boost etc. but I didn't want to take it that far.

I've taken a pic of the graphs with my phone so I'll open a photo account sometime and upload them when I can

    Nice result

Surely no matter how much power the car has, it can only go as fast, or step out as much as one presses the accelerator pedal.

Do you mind puting up your engine spec.

I'm aiming for abit less than what your running but would be handy to know exactly how you got that power with what parts.
