i had planned on going but when i woke up i could hear the rain and couldnt drag myself out of bed and the 15 needed a good scrub which wasnt going to happen in the rain. the joys of living in wicklow is your cars always covered in muck. ill do my best to be at the next one.

yeah alls good pulls like a train, going to change the diff center from open back to the helical one from the spec r and that will be it for a while will work on rust proofing her and then start to buy a few bits here and there to forge the engine at some point.

Rare car these days, any reason your going for the 12 over the rest?

I like the rare stuff. Last one was a 180 Type X. I love everything about the S12, and have a modernisation project in mind. I find as I'm getting older, modern classics are speaking to me more and more, and S12s are still pretty affordable, although super rare.

Old car, modern engine & chassis. Reliable, useable, awesome. The perfect SX

I rang him yesterday mate. Said he's had too many time-wasters, so is keeping it, and has paid the garage to do the welding already (sounds like bullshit, but hey). He failed to see the irony of wasting my time by not taking down his bloody ad though!
