QTP Exhaust Bypass Valve - A.K.A. The RETARD valve! In stock!

It's real name is a QTP Exhaust Bypass Valve, but after fitting one to the V10 it became known as a 'Retard Valve'

It an electronically operated valve that vents exhaust gas where ever you fit it, and for example gave an extra 22bhp on the dyno on my lowly naturally aspirated car, so when fitted to the Driftworks S15 and R32 soon we are expecting great results.

Loads in stock, and available in sizes 2.5" 3" 3.5" and 4" in the shop here - QTP Exhaust Bypass Valve

and here's a little video to demonstrate what it does:

its just an electronic version of an apexi exhaust silencer valve which is manually operated by a cable

It's a similar idea, but the Apexi valves only really worked as an in-line fitment. They would only give you a variable restriction and wouldn't shut off completely, whereas these QTP valves are able to almost totally seal shut, so they work well for bypass use
They're also about the same price as the manually operated Apexi valves were and the quality's really good, whereas the Apexi valve we had fitted to Phil's S14 fell apart after a short time
